"The Bagel Deli is a deli in the same way St. Peter’s Basilica is a church. It is an institution, infused with memories and traditions passed down through generations. You can feel it in the tables of regulars who’ve been meeting here for decades, see it in the family photos—plus the requisite diner picture of Guy Fieri—on the walls, and taste it in Bubbie’s blintzes. While the strip mall setting might seem kind of ho-hum, the personality is inside, where the chatter is as consistent as the latkes. Save the super thick sandwiches for lunch and dinner and instead head over early for the lox and eggs and challah French toast stuffed with cream cheese.
