"One of our favorite bakeries (and #1 croissant in the city) now has a second location in Silver Lake. Friend & Family’s new outpost has a tighter menu that focuses on pastries, coffee, and grab-and-go sandwiches like tuna and swiss on sourdough and a Moroccan carrot and feta veggie sandwich. If you’re looking for a new patio in the neighborhood for lunch, this place has a spacious one. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sylvio Martins
