"Katana used to be one of those places someone would bring you when they said, “I know a spot.” These days, the fun (and tiny) floating sushi restaurant seems to be everyone’s “I know a spot.” So there’s almost always a long wait. But we still believe Katana is worth it, especially because you can kill time at the bar next door. Once you get a text that your seat is ready, you can relax and grab plates of sushi that float through the dining room on a little stream. Different color plates cost different amounts, starting at about $1.50 each. The quality of fish is good, the prices are fair, and it’s an amazing date spot if you’re not in a rush." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo
