"If you are Boia De reservation hunting because you want food you’ll remember for the next two and a half years, then Zitz Sum is here to save the day. Just like Boia De, this Coral Gables spot has one of the best menus in Miami, which changes often but results in a combination of the best food adjectives you can think of. Rotating dishes are influenced by Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Lao, and other Asian cultures. You’ll find dumplings, Thursday night ramen specials, and a brisket sheng jian bao that made us forget everything we learned in kindergarten about sharing. And because the menu changes constantly, dinner here is still exciting even if you come on a weekly basis." - ryan pfeffer

Dojo Izakaya

Food and drink · Downtown Coral Gables

"Dōjō is a new Izakaya & Saké Bar from the team behind Michelin rated, James Beard Nominee, Zitz Sum, located in Coral Gables, Florida. Heavily inspired by our love for small Japanese bars, good quality seafood & all things cooked over charcoal, Dōjō brings together hospitality & familiarity to a space that is comfortable and inviting, designed to be inspired by Japandi interior design with bauhaus accents. For us, Dōjō means the path & the way “Dō” and the time and place “jo”, tied with the concept of Ichigo Ichie which means “ in this moment, an opportunity”. Relentless hospitality, excellent food & beverage; and being present in the moment are the core values of what the Dōjō experience is all about."
