"Pari Pari has the same light wood and clean angles as the rest of the handroll bars that’ve been popping up around Miami. But what makes it better than the others are the handrolls themselves—and squeeze bottles of excellent housemade sauces they toss your way. There are a few set menu options, which range from three handrolls ($23) to five handrolls ($39). Five handrolls is the sweet spot, so do “the five” or “the four” and add something from the a la carte options. You’ll find the most exciting (and expensive) handrolls in the signature options, like the torched toro bourbon or the uni toro. Pari Pari just opened and they’re still workshopping the desserts fromYann Couvreur, but the handrolls alone, which come from the brilliant sushi brain behindSushi Yasu Tanaka, are already enough to drag us to Wynwood for dinner." - Mariana Trabanino
