"The superpower of so many of Fort Lauderdale’s beachfront restaurants is the view. Burlock Coast is no different. You're coming here to sit on the patio and watch the ocean twinkle. But this place is also a well-run hotel restaurant. The staff are enthusiastic, the food is consistent, and you could almost reach out and grab a fistful of sand from the beach. The menu leans towards seafood, so start with oysters and a salad, then go for the seared catch of the day. There’s nothing groundbreaking going on here, but it’s a good bet for wooing clients or clinking martinis with a visiting aunt from a landlocked state." - Ryan Pfeffer
