"Josh’s Deli is a small Surfside breakfast spot that’s perfect for starting the day with thick slices of challah french toast and giant sandwiches loaded with pastrami and roast pork like an overpacker’s suitcase. The golden challah and seeded rye used for the french toast and sandwiches are made in house. They also make great bagels, which you can order with salmon lox and cream cheese. It’s a pretty casual spot, so it’s perfect for fueling up before a long beach day, or a lazy breakfast during lunch hours if you woke up late. Food Rundown French Toast A morning that involves Josh’s fried challah french toast topped with berries is a morning worth journaling about. The berries are an added charge but we can’t think of a better way to spend that hard earned $2.25. But if you want a more thrilling latke experience, get the ones with spicy tuna.
