"Hand Fire Pizza is in a repurposed movie theater with the original marquee and ticket booth, which makes it our favorite example of somewhere that has truly preserved the historic charm of Jackson. While they no longer show the latest blockbusters, watching the chefs sling pizzas into wood-fired ovens is its own kind of show. Their pizza options come with cheeky names like the Chew-baca that blends herbed ricotta, salty bacon, caramelized onions, and a drizzle of honey. Never overlook the classics though: their margherita pizza that’s called The Queen of Savoy has a thin and crispy crust that doesn’t lose its breadiness.
