"In February 2024, Village Cigars ended a 102-year run at the corner of Christopher Street and 7th Avenue. The space—with its iconic sign—is open again, but now as a Georgian restaurant called Mamali. They’ve got staples like khachapuri with molten cheese and egg yolks, big, folded khinkali, and lots of Georgian wine to drink. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Will Hartman
