"Farro is one of those bakeries that has risen up the ranks from ‘nice little city mill selling pastries’ to a name-dropping signifier that you’re both very cool and get down with canelé de Bordeaux. From 9am at the weekend, queues form, vintage cap enthusiasts nab a takeaway bottle of All Purpose Bianco while they wait for their turn at the till, and people perch a la pigeon on the steps out front, proudly eating madeleines while taking in the beautiful Bristol sights (technically, a drab roundabout and cars crawling up the A4044)." - Heidi Lauth Beasley
