"Berry & Maple is a cosy Clapham brunch spot where the door opens every four seconds to reveal another pram, a couple in matching fleece vests, or a family about to navigate the emotional fallout of sharing pancakes. It can be chaotic, but you can still wander in on a weekend and get a seat without being herded out like a time-waster. Inside, everything is beige and serene, but the dishes aren’t the usual brunch on autopilot. The menemen is excellent: rich, tomatoey, and satisfying. The ‘breakfast tacos’—pancakes bent into taco holders and stuffed with scrambled eggs and salty halal beef sausage—sound gimmicky but are actually quite pleasant, especially when drenched in maple syrup." - Rianne Shlebak
