"Joon is an a-la-carte shabu shabu spot that keeps things simple: platters of thinly sliced meat, fresh vegetables, and noodles arrive at your table, ready to be dunked. But there’s one twist—you’re tasked with turning your pot of boiling water into a personalized broth with seasonings like dashi, chili oil, or a generous scoop of garlic. Servers behind the counter are happy to help, or you can just copy your neighbor. Every seat here comes with its own dedicated boiler, which is nice for solo dinners.
