Banks Meat Market - Review - Mid-City - New Orleans - The Infatuation

"When people come to New Orleans and ask, “What’s the best place to get a po’boy?” we often suggest gas stations. The pinnacle of such is Banks Meat Market, which is where you should try a hot sausage po’boy. They use the standard Patton’s, you can get one on a 32-inch loaf, you’ll be in and out quickly, and the prices are reasonable—$6 for the 10-inch po’boy and $17 for the 32-inch loaf. Beyond just getting a sandwich (and a Big Shot), we’ve also stopped by to get our phone screen fixed and even got serenaded in the parking lot once. photo credit: Cory Fontenot photo credit: Cory Fontenot photo credit: Cory Fontenot photo credit: Cory Fontenot photo credit: Cory Fontenot" - Megan Braden-Perry
