Fish Tales Gourmet Seafood Market

Seafood market · Cobble Hill

"At Fish Tales, you can buy a lobster roll for lunch, fish for dinner, and some smoked whitefish salad to schmear on a bagel the next morning. The Cobble Hill spot is mainly a fish market, but the short food menu makes a case for coming here hungry, and making a meal out of your shopping stop. Choose between frisbee-sized fish tacos, and a lobster roll with shredded iceberg lettuce that makes us wonder why more places don’t do it that way. While you wait for your order, take in all the signs (“Keep Calm And Eat Lobstah"). There’s nowhere to sit, but you can take your roll a block away to nearby Cobble Hill Park, which happens to be one of the most quaint parks in Brooklyn. photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Kate Previte" - Willa Moore
