"Local 149 is a gastropub near Pleasure Bay in Southie. It’s nothing special, but it’s also just about the only restaurant and bar in a 10-block radius, so if you’re down at the M Street Beach and want to grab a bite to eat, this will get the job done. The craft beer selection is very good and they have some decent cocktails too. As long as you prioritize the drinks over the menu of popcorn chicken and truffle brussels sprouts, you’ll have a good time." - Dan Secatore
