"From songwriter showcases to individual sets, Alley Taps continually has some of the best voices in the city. Grab a beer and a front row seat to see someone who could at any moment be a superstar, selling out stadiums for hundreds or thousands a ticket rather than the cost of a $4 domestic. The pub itself looks like decks on a wooden ship, and the small size of the space lets the voices soar. Also, it’s just far enough off Broadway to get a breather from the crowds, which makes getting drinks with friends here feel extra intimate." - Ann Walczak
