"Since starting as a food truck in 2015, Paperboy has reigned over Austin’s brunch scene. So good luck getting a last-minute weekend reservation at the new South Lamar location, where tables are already booking out weeks in advance. The menu is identical to the East Side counterpart, as are the vibes—bright and boisterous. Even on a Wednesday morning, the place is packed, with tables covered in lattes, cinnamon toast, and BECs. We can confirm that the pancake is still delicious and so thick you might confuse it for cornbread. The mushroom grits with leek chili crisp are pretty good too.
