"For one of the liveliest dining rooms in the area and some proper moules frites, you can’t go wrong with Almond, a Bridgehampton mainstay since 2001. Beyond the steak and fries portion of the menu (pro tip: add bernaise or cheese), they do bistro food with a little flair: like scallops with duck pastrami, or fluke pan roast with kimchi. We’ve also made plans around their internationally inspired plats du jour (ramen on Thursdays, a seasonal lamb dish every Saturday). During peak summer, mingle in the ample sidewalk cafe and sample from the raw bar—or join in on Saturday karaoke nights during the off-season." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner
