"Tucked away in West LA is Ray’s, a bright red take-out window that serves hearty American fare, plus some Japanese and Mexican dishes thrown in the mix. This daytime spot sees a morning and lunchtime rush of people picking up burgers, breakfast burritos, and egg sandwiches stuffed with three types of cheese, but the specialty here is the chicken teriyaki. For under $15, you get a very large portion of chicken and grilled vegetables over rice drenched in a not-too-sweet teriyaki sauce (which we like).
