"Mona Verde joins the ranks of the many rooftop bars in this hilly city but is the only one where you can sip on a perfect Negroni with smashing 360-degree views. Once you get to the 8th floor of this urban-wildlife-like terrace, you can sit underneath a disco ball, surrounded by palm trees, leafy greens, and birds of paradise—it's a contrast to the terracotta walls that blend with the sun-kissed Lisbon light. Devour a lamb-and-mint croquette and a Penicillin cocktail to numb those legs after closing your fitness rings (twice). Other reasons to love this place: it’s open late (2am) and there’s a live DJ set every Wednesday to Sunday during summer." - Rita Geraldes
