"Everything about Hometipple, a Walthamstow Village wine bar, facilitates a good catch-up. The wine list is long—and so is the list of grievances we’ve decided we must air after two glasses of low-intervention Xarel-lo. There are changing chef residencies which usually involve hunks of focaccia and sharer-sized portions to pick at while you pick over your friend’s love life. And softly spoken servers know just the right time to interrupt with a suggestion of dessert.
