"Opened in 2014 by young owners Emanuel Carlucci and Alejandra Herrador, this Alcossebre address spotlights a 55€ rice-based menu that pays homage to the region’s emblematic ingredient and local landscapes and coastline, with rice served with fish or seafood; the duo met while working at Martín Berasategui and now present a sequence of snacks and 5 courses that varies with seasonal produce. The Arroz menu also enacts their sustainability philosophy by enriching rice stock with parts of fish and seafood from other menus and, in turn, using the stock to add flavour to other dishes, and it offers a different option to the restaurant’s longer tasting menus (Goleta: snacks + 13 courses for 110€; Bergantín: snacks + 9 courses for 85€). Priced at 55€ excluding drinks, the Arroz menu is available for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday, except Saturdays and public holidays." - The MICHELIN Guide
