"As one of Medellín’s classic hostels (and the first in town), I really loved Black Sheep — the rooms are simple but spotless, the bathrooms have great water pressure and are cleaned regularly, and there are lots of common spaces including a large balcony and terrace where guests socialize. The beer at the bar is cheap, the Kiwi owner and student staff are super friendly and great for local tips, and the hostel organizes tons of tours and activities (they’ll even exchange money), so it gets everything right as a social, well-run option." - Matthew Kepnes
