"La Fabrica de Arte Cubano (FAC), is Havana’s hippest spot. A place unimaginable just a few years ago. It’s an art gallery, music venue, bar, cultural center, dance club all in one. It almost feels like you could be in Brooklyn (for better or worse). The crowd is a fun mix of Cubans and foreigners due to the low $2 cover, and reasonable drink prices. Check their website fac.cu for musical listings. They open Thurs-Sunday nights from 8pm to 2am, and lines often get long starting at 9:30. They also close for weeks at a time to renovate the exhibit spaces every January, May and September, so plan ahead" - Noah Friedman-Rudovsky
