"Gröninger Privatbrauerei, Speicherstadt Hafencity. One of the oldest breweries in Hamburg. If you want the «traditional german» experience, this is the place to go. In this dark and moody cellar you get hearty german food and beer. From the front the place seems really small, but the back extends throughout the whole block. You won't have any problems if you go there for lunch, but prepare to find it packed on weekend evenings."
