"Hop Nation Brewing Co., Footscray by Susu Studio. Earlier in 2016, Sam & Duncan opened the giant roller door to the instantly-popular brew bar, Hop Nation. The warehouse is located in a thick of factories in industrial Footscray. It also sits along an unofficial westside craft beer crawl, between stops at Two Birds in Spotswood and the well-stocked taps at Bar Josephine or The Night Heron (maybe grab a West City ale to stick with the local theme?) The cathedral-like space is seriously impressive, with a huge mezzanine overlooking the magical beer factory below. In a bid to make sure you never leave (as if you needed a reason!), there will often be a food truck parked out the front. They have found themselves amongst plenty of "Best of" lists and a loving place in our fridge. Current recommendation: ‘The Punch’ Mango Gose. But if you happen to read this during winter, let’s pray to the hop-gods that the barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout has been resurrected.Photography by Gianna Rizzo."
