"The center of the East Boston artist community, the Atlantic Works building houses artist studios, and on the top floor, the Atlantic Works gallery. The gallery is artist run and maintained with new exhibitions every month showcasing new work. Though opening receptions vary by store, the third Thursday of every month is a reception, often featuring artist talks from the displaying artists. Atlantic Works gallery also hosts performances, poetry readings, and other visiting artist groups. The building hosts the annual East Boston open studios and is home to the globally active Biennial Project. The gallery also has satellite sites in South Boston and the Future Lab facility asking the McClellan Highways.
