Sadness and spectacle blended together as the European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour closed with an eighth and final show at Wembley Stadium, where she said So Long, London and so long to this part of the tour but made sure to say goodbye in ‘Style’. Across the Wembley August dates, fans there were treated to some of the most exciting surprise song mashups of the run – including ‘Everything Has Changed’ x ‘End Game’ x ‘Thinking Out Loud’ (feat. Ed Sheeran), ‘King of My Heart’ x ‘The Alchemy’, and on the final night a ‘Death By a Thousand Cuts’ x ‘Getaway Car’ mashup with Jack Antonoff on stage as they paused midway through to recreate the viral clip of them writing the song together.
