Used for George and Kathryn’s pivotal cinema date, this historic picture house provides a key plot location built around a cinema ticket stub. The rake of the seating is noted as being quite steep, giving a good view of the characters, and there was a buzz on set about filming there because it’s also regarded as the birthplace of British cinema, adding an extra layer of significance to the scene. - Phil de Semlyen
