"A boutique hotel that doubles as an ambitious art destination, housing over 500 original works that blend emerging and international voices—from Amy Sillman’s whimsical pastels to Pedro Barbeito’s 3D pieces—with each of the 12 floors dedicated to an artist who created a site-specific installation, including John Newsom’s hummingbird mural on the eighth floor. Rooms and suites are calm and contemporary, rendered in a mostly monochromatic palette punctuated by playful pops of bright purple and electric orange, and feature welcoming touches like Tibetan carpets alongside industrial elements such as exposed pipes and concrete ceilings.
