"Believed to date back to the third century, this Buddhist complex is dominated by a 45 m-tall, three-tiered golden stupa reportedly adorned with about 454 kg of gold leaf and ringed by 30 smaller stupas. The nearby palace and a smaller temple feature hand-painted murals that depict Buddhist teachings.
