"The Grand Hotel des Sablettes Plage dates back to 1888, and was one of the great luxury hotels of the Belle Époque; after a few decades’ retirement it’s back in business, this time as a part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, and it’s looking as fine as ever. You wouldn’t quite mistake it for a period reconstruction; though it’s got plenty of antique furniture and historical atmosphere, it’s a contemporary evolution of the classic grand hotel.
