"Before it was a luxury hotel, Chiostro dei Domenicani - Dimora Storica was a 15th-century Dominican monastery, and many of its original features are intact, from wide halls framed by soaring stone archways and colorful frescoes to shadowy crypts and a spectacularly photogenic central cloister. Simple, modern rooms and suites now occupy the monks’ former cells.
