"The depot is a destination in its own right, housing a small museum dedicated to Oahu's railway history, vintage rail equipment that visitors can explore up close, and a gift shop for souvenirs. The nonprofit operating the site has restored about 6.5 miles of the original Oahu Railway track, preserved three fully operational vintage diesel locomotives (plus several restored steam engines on display), and secured placement on the State and National Registers of Historic Sites." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists.
