"Tucked on an unusually quiet street at the foot of SoPi in Paris's 9th arrondissement, the hotel HOY (short for 'House of Yoga' and also meaning 'today' in Spanish) sets out to promote a more mindful, responsible way of living in the city. Founded by Charlotte Gomez de Orozco, it blends wellness offerings with intentional design—ash-blond wood floors, walls in a pale khaki‑mint, a ballet bar for stretching, and handmade mugs and carafes by Ceramica Libertad—while staff (Leo relieved me of my dripping umbrella) provide a warm welcome. Inside I was drawn to florist Chiaki Kokami's atelier, enjoyed a facial-yoga session that promised lymphatic drainage and collagen stimulation, and sampled hotel products made with 100% natural ingredients in partnership with The Naked Shop that left me smelling of Provence lavender. The property includes a heated yoga studio created with Yuj Yoga and a lengthy, regularly updated care menu featuring everything from holistic osteopathy and CBD massages to intimate-ecology treatments and body painting; I also joined a morning yoga class led by Gomez de Orozco herself and left feeling noticeably lighter after my stay." - Caitlin Gunther Caitlin Gunther Caitlin Gunther is a trilingual Paris-based journalist with words in Travel + Leisure, Bon Appétit, The Guardian, Air Mail, Food52, Vogue Business, Food & Wine, Vice, and others.
