5 Adaptive Winter Sports Programs in the U.S.

"Located minutes from Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort, this program takes participants to both mountains and uses instructors trained in a wide range of adaptive techniques—2-track through 4-track, mono- and bi-ski, snow slider, ski bike, snowboarding, and guiding for low-vision or blind skiers. It serves people with intellectual disabilities and those who are deaf or hard of hearing, and many participants go on to try summer offerings like horseback riding, biking, and trekking." - Evie Carrick Evie Carrick Evie Carrick is a writer and editor who’s lived in five countries and visited well over 50.
