AutoCamp Comes to Sequoia National Park in California - AFAR
"Opening March 10, 2025, this design-forward glamping property sits among some of the tallest trees near the confluence of the Kaweah River’s three forks, about 15 minutes from Sequoia National Park (home to the famed General Sherman Tree) and roughly 90 minutes from Kings Canyon National Park. The 85-unit site is dominated by the brand’s signature 31-foot silver Airstream trailers featuring bright, modern interiors, spa-inspired bathrooms with walk-in showers, queen-size beds, convertible sofas, kitchenettes, and private patios with fire pits. Some units are configured as Base Camp pairings that combine an Airstream with a neighboring canvas tent (king bed, extra sofa bed, mini-fridge). The property also includes midcentury-inspired tiny-home cabins (several ADA-compliant) and hotel-style Bunk Rooms. A central Clubhouse provides lounge seating, games, indoor and outdoor fire pits, a bar serving local beers, wines and cocktails, an outdoor pool, free bicycle rentals, live weekend music, and a calendar of classes such as yoga and pilates. On-site dining at a Kitchen (open 7 a.m.–10 p.m.) ranges from breakfast sandwiches to pizzas, and a General Store stocks locally sourced campfire dinner kits and trail-ready picnic supplies.
