"A women‑owned aquaculture operation founded in 2018 that farms oysters off Little Ram Island; owners Elizabeth Peeples and Stefanie Bassett originally ran the business from a boat, tumbling oysters by hand to produce cleaner, rounder shells and meatier oysters. They now operate from an on‑land, aquaculture‑permitted facility housing an electronic tumbler and sorting machine, offer tours and hands‑on experiences with their floating nursery and hatchery, teach shucking classes and host tastings (including at the nearby hotel food truck), and have been championed by chef John Fraser, who serves their oysters exclusively at his restaurant." - Devorah Lev-Tov
