"A boutique Nairobi hotel opened in 2021 by Anna Trzebinski (who originally built it with her late husband as a family home in 1992) that aims to be more than a place to sleep by actively connecting visitors to the city’s creative scene through on-site events and customized art-immersion experiences. Run by a German-born, Kenya-raised fashion designer with deep arts-world connections, the property retains a private-estate feel across four tree-shaded acres and nine rooms, many featuring canopy beds hand-carved by artisans inspired by Lamu Island.
