"Jackson Hole is one of the most expensive ski resorts in North America, so this hotel – which offers luxury with a low price tag – is a real find. Located in the town of Jackson, the skiing takes place up at Teton Village, a 15-minute drive north. Hotels in Teton (and thus close to the lifts) are far more expensive, but the Lodge offers a free shuttle bus to the slopes, making it easy to get back and forth. In addition, a courtesy car is on hand to whisk guests into the centre of town, five minutes away, at any time. Guests wake to a full American breakfast, and return to cocktails in the cosy fireside lounge. There’s also a smart indoor-to-outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness centre. " - Nicola Iseard
