"Set out in a marina on Stock Island, Hogfish Bar and Grill is just far enough off the beaten path of Duval Street to make it a bit of a “find” (it's also a popular spot with locals, which is always a positive sign). You’ll know you’ve arrived when you see what looks like a massive tiki hut, complete with a thatched roof; inside, wooden picnic tables, mounted license plates, and nautical décor galore continue to remind you that you’re just a few steps from the water. Then again, so do the panoramic views of the marina, where you can watch as fresh catches make their way from the boat to your plate (okay, not straight to your plate, but close enough). This is old-school Florida Tropical at its most vibrant, with a menu full of fresh fish delicacies (the fried hogfish sandwich is the house specialty).
