"When we walked into the Château de la Napoule, there was simply no competition — we were slapping each other, ‘Wow, this is the most beautiful place we’ve ever seen.’ Its Gothic architecture and medieval charm paired with dramatic ocean views made it feel like the perfect blend of ornate, stately French château culture and the seaside celebration we wanted; importantly, there were spaces throughout the estate to stage each event without raising tents, so guests could be fully immersed in the landscape and dinner tables didn’t have to be placed in the sand. The property, originally constructed in the 14th century, also serves as an artist compound offering creative residencies, and its preferred-vendor list made planning easier since we could work with recommended producers who knew the venue." - Kaitlin Menza
