"Why did this hotel catch your attention? What's the vibe?Reefhouse Resort & Marina is a waterfront Key Largo property (formerly a Marriott) with plenty of space and ample amenities. It’s also a popular destination for weddings and meetings, with 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event venues. Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book? The rooms have been refreshed with a chic, nautical flair. Many have balconies, and those with bay front views are the ones to book. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi?The Wi-Fi is free, as it should be. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at?There is one all-day dining restaurant: Gus’ Grille. Breezer’s Tiki Bar and Flipper’s Pool Bar are open for casual lunch and dinner, plus cocktails. Breakfast comes both a la carte and buffet. What about the neighborhood? Does the hotel fit in, make itself part of the scene? The hotel sits on 17 waterfront acres overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, away from the hustle and bustle of Key Largo. Any other hotel features worth noting? There’s a spa with a comprehensive treatment menu. The hotel has its own basin and dive shop, making it a good bet for divers and snorkelers. It’s also only a five-minute drive from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Bottom line: Worth it? Why?Given its amenities and location, this is a great choice for underwater explorers." - Nancy DePalma
