"This modern sandstone hotel in a mixed-use development, designed by José Rafael Moneo, is in an "amazing location" just steps away from the Potsdamer Platz U-Bahn station and a short walk to the site of the Berlin Wall. Minimalist but "well-appointed, beautiful rooms" have cherrywood and marble, along with Bang & Olufsen flat-screen televisions. Design elements include a crystal-shaped roof light, Lebanese cedarwood, black granite, stucco posts, backlit alabaster walls, and a large atrium lobby. At Vox, guests dine on sushi while watching Berlin’s largest show kitchen in action; its bar stocks more than 240 whiskeys. Restaurant Mesa has leather-coated tables and a German menu."
