"Located in a 1,350-square-foot space at Windmill Lane Plaza near Bermuda Road, this casual newcomer brings Hawaiian plate-lunch and Samoan specialties to the southeast from the former Shoku Ramen-ya spot. The owners — who chose not to reuse the name of their four‑year‑old Waianae restaurant — are still expanding the menu and running daily specials; current offerings include poke nachos, salmon with crab, ahi katsu, wasabi salmon, and Aloha poke bowls (priced at $12.99), along with value plates such as fish-and-fries ($11.99) and steak-and-shrimp ($14.99). Recent specials have featured beef stew/luʻau, crab wontons, and steak with asparagus. The informal space has been serving roughly noon–8 p.m. while final hours and additional menu items are being updated, and it sits next to the future Juicy Burgers replacing the shuttered Bachi Burger." - Bradley Martin
