"Small ‘fire’ sauce packets from the fast-food chain were credited by a man stranded by a snowstorm with helping him survive a five-day ordeal after he woke to too much snow to move his car on a forest service road; he told the county sheriff’s office he had sustained himself on “a few taco sauce packets” until a snowmobiler rescued him. The packets were described in the report as tiny, mass-produced, highly acidic condiments that could cause heartburn on an empty stomach, and it was not reported whether he shared any with his dog." - Tim Forster
