"Scratch-made beignets and syrups are at the heart of Mo’Bay Beignet Company. When the demand for her homemade confections became too much to shoulder, Mobile native Jaclyn Robinson opened her first brick-and-mortar location on Dauphin Street in 2020 to serve up her famous hot-from-the-fryer beignets to the masses. Four years and three locations (with more on the way) later, the casual cafe is a local staple. Be sure to order a side of house-made cinnamon syrup for dunking and a cup of Mo’Bay Beignet’s own pecan praline cold brew to wash it all down." - Sarah Bisacca
