"An arena kitchen and court were used for an elimination challenge where chefs cooked comfort-food game-day menus for a roaring college-basketball crowd, with dishes presented on the court to judges that included the home-team coach and a Food & Wine editor. Teams split into competing menus — dumplings, wings, ribs, chicken & waffles, and a Jucy Lucy riff — and battled amid stadium pressures: ovens made it hard to crisp ribs, large crowds (about 4,200) heckled a contestant over boxed waffle mix, and on-court presentation amplified both praise and errors.
