Berlin’s Concierge Coffee Just Opened Its First U.S. Location in LA | Eater LA
"A third-wave coffee shop from Berlin opened its first U.S. store in the Arts District; founded by Benjamin Pates and Namdar Nosratifard in 2013, Concierge Coffee’s Los Angeles location at 821 Traction Avenue in the Signal retail cluster seats up to 30 people inside and another 50 in the courtyard. The partners say the vision is to bring what Concierge is known for in Berlin—really good third-wave coffee—while letting the coffee speak for itself and emphasizing service and the environment. The shop specializes in espresso-based drinks and is best known for its flat whites; watch for the signature “concierge cream,” described as an iced latte affogato fusion.
