"A reservations-only open-fire studio that opened in late August, teaching home cooks how to grill through hands-on classes and chef demonstrations. Guests can work at one of two XL Big Green Egg grills inside an air-conditioned studio or opt for a chef’s-table–style demo with a wine pairing for up to 15 people. Chef-owner Tim van Ee, originally from the Netherlands, developed the concept after turning a backyard grilling hobby in Philadelphia into a side business (shipping ingredient kits and hosting Zoom classes during the pandemic) and then quitting his job two years ago to teach grilling full-time.
